May 27, 2005: Debut of the Chamber Arts Festival of Marbletown (extending to June 5, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM, Sundays at 4 PM); David Alpher is founder and artistic director; Howard Mont is founder and director of operations. May 26, 2005: Alpher's Ritornello for flute and piano performed by Christiane Meininger, flute, and Rainer Gepp, piano, at the Union College Concert Series, Schenectady, N.Y. February 23, 2005: Alpher, Soprano Harolyn Blackwell and baritone Christopheren Nomura perform art songs and duets at a private event, in New York City to benefit the Chamber Arts Festival of Marbletown. February 2, 2005: Alpher appears as pianist at the Cleveland Institue of Art's 25th Anniversary Gala Music Series. He plays Schubert songs with Christopheren Nomura, as well as Poulenc's Le Bal Masqué with Nomura and the Modus Ensemble. The concert is at 7:30 PM and will take place at The Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio. January 30, 2005: Pianist Douglas Riva performs Alpher's Las Meninas: Variations at Teller Hall, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.
